I have been training gundogs for the shooting field for over 25 years. My passion is competing with my dogs in retriever gundog field trails where I have had a reasonable amount of success with over 20 wins to my name, and having the good fortune of making two of the dogs up to field trail champions.
All our stud dogs are a result of a quality breeding program, with a long lineage of the best quality health tested dogs available, spanning three generations. Barley has plenty of bone with a strong and athletic frame, impeccable health tests and an enthusiastic personality. He comes from a long lineage of field trail champions. Barley has never struggled to mate with a biddable bitch achieving an average litter size of 6.5 puppies. Previous litters have gone to pet homes as well as working and are as happy living in or outside.
