Ollie is a handsome trialling dog with a soft but hard going temperament . Like his sire, FTCH Balbirnie Logo of Thornship, who featured in the 2022 Retriever Championship, he is steady, marks well and has an excellent hunting style. Very attentive to the whistle, he is easy to handle and a good gamefinder.
Ollie is health tested and clear for SD2, PRA , CNM and has regular clear eye tests. His elbows are 0/0 and hips just above the breed median score for those tested.
This season he has been consistently successful, being placed second four times, third once and guns' choice in novice and all age retriever trials.
