Ruby is 4 years old. I bought her from a home where she was locked outside, mistreated and absolutely terrified. She has a lovely nature, loves a cuddle. I’ve taken her to work with me, into coffee shops etc and she’s been really good. However, she isn’t house trained. We have tried so hard, but because she was so traumatised by what she’s been through, we haven’t had much luck. My opinion reasonably experienced as I have 3 other dogs is that she really needs to be a sole dog so that she has undivided attention to work through this. This is the only negative I can say about her - she’s lovely with other dogs and also with children. She is crate trained. We have had Ruby since January. She doesn’t chew and isn’t at all destructive. She will jump up but if you react prior and say ‘no’ she won’t then do it. She’s very friendly and deserves a really loving home.
I think she would be more suited to a working home although will require further training as she doesn't seem to understand the idea of living at home as a pet.
