We are aiming to D.N.A test all our stock and will only breed from D.N.A 'Clear' progeny
with excellent temperments, soundness and intelligence
who will excel in the shooting , working and Trialing fields.
Our Stud Dog Boss and future Stud Dogs Glen and Tosh as well as our breeding bitches

Will be D.N.A tested 'Clear' for G.P.R.A - C.N.M - R.D / O.S.D - NARC and have low Hip Scores
and B.V.A Current 'Clear' Eye Certificates as standard.
All our dogs are fed on a natural Barf Diet, which we believe has given all our dogs good energy levels,
are alert at all times, have a strong immune system,
healthy coats and teeth, and also appear to have good fertillity levels,
We also believe these qualities have been passed onto the prodgeny of our breeding stock.

Here at Macgiriaght Spaniels we have been involved in shooting and field sports for over three decades. Frank lived in Canada until the age of 18, when he moved to Scotland . He now lives in south Suffolk. Frank was an avid shooter until 1992 when he bought his first Spaniel. Frank was so impressed by the loyalty, stamina and intelligence of this loving, yet hard-working breed that he soon began the process of building up a line of award-winning spaniels. Frank so enjoyed the thrill of shooting over spaniels that the act of shooting became secondary to training and working his dogs, and he is now a confirmed 'spaniel-nut!'.
Frank is an experienced dog handler and trainer. He rough-shoots over his dogs in England and Scotland. Frank has judged Field Trials and Gun Dog Working Tests. Our spaniels have all competed in gun dog working tests and field trials. We have won numerous awards in all these categories and at all levels.
We have experience in Clumbers, Cockers and English Springer Spaniels having won competitions in all three breeds.
It is the loyal, friendly and obedient nature of these dogs that makes a Spaniel such a superb family pet as well as a top working dog.

We have been breeding and training labradors for the past 45 years. All our dogs are shot over regularly and we go picking up as much as we can.
John is the captain of the England Gundog Team, you may have seen us at the C.L.A. Game Fair.
We both compete in Working Tests and Field Trials throughout the shooting season.
We have won the Retriever Championship on five occaisions, John winning it three times in a row with FIELD TRIAL CHAMPION BREEZE OF DRAKESHEAD in 1985, 1986, 1987,a feat never before accomplished.
He then went on to win it again in 1992 with FIELD TRIAL CHAMPION RAUGHLIN PETE OF DRAKESHEAD.
Sandra won the Championship in 1979 with FIELD TRIAL CHAMPION WESTEAD SHOT OF DRAKESHEAD.
Between us we have made up 29 FIELD TRIAL CHAMPIONS and bred many more.
We are both FIELD TRIAL(A) panel Judges, Sandra is also a CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW JUDGE for Labradors.
We do six/seven Gundog Training Demonstrations up and down the country each year, you may have seen us at the country fairs.

Occasionally we do have puppies for sale, but you would need to order well in advance.

Creccamarsh is a small kennels situated in Gloucestershire and managed under the direction of Richard Devereux-Biggs.
Situated on the glorious Hamptworth Estate on the Wiltshire / Hampshire border just twenty minutes from Southampton and ten minutes from Salisbury. The Estate is located in the New Forest National Park and consists of over 3,000 acres of mixed woodland, bracken banks, white grass and wetlands. This provides a perfect environment for training any breed of gundog in a relaxed atmosphere. The Estate is host to a number of gundog tests/trials alongside a well established driven shoot.
The Hamptworth Gundogs training team bring together over 50 years combined experience in the training, trialling, testing and field working of gundogs. Specialising in retrievers and spaniels, the team can also train HPR's and other breeds for shooting, stalking and hawking.

Druimmuir Spaniels are a small non-commercial and private kennel based in Aberdeenshire, North East Scotland. The local area is ideally suited for dog training and spaniels in particular. With many local syndicates and commercial shoots in the area there is no shortage of game experience for the dogs, and all the dogs participate in days picking up and beating during the season. They also have days on wildfowl and pigeon shooting and occasional grouse days and other walk ups. Those that make the grade when training and working also participate in field trials, any results etc are detailed on our website.
The kennels offer proven dogs at stud to approved bitches and currently have stud dogs available for Springer Spaniels, Labradors and Cocker Spaniels.
Waterpower Spaniels is a small kennel based in the North West of England specialising in the Working English Springer Spaniel, owned by Michelle and Stephen Power. There aim is to promote the virtue, style, and hunting ability of the E.S.S. for the shooting field.
